Scout Leader Trainings

The following are current opportunities for leader trainings. If you are interested in a different program or format other than what is listed, please contact the Scout Coordinator. We are happy to work with scout groups/leaders to provide the training they seek.

Habitats
Skilled and knowledgeable science center Naturalists will visit your meeting place or event for a 1-hour lesson on how to encourage your scouts to enjoy and explore the out-of-doors. This session includes visits from local live animals, information and activities to share with your scouts in Kindergarten thru grade 6, a resource list to seek out additional information and ideas, a discussion on safe and proper handling and observation of reptiles and amphibians, and handouts about subjects covered. Please call for fee.
