Flower Arranging from your Gardens

Ever feel all thumbs when arranging flowers in a vase? Gerry
Brzuszek, formerly of StoneHouse Gardens will share simple rules
and tricks to create artistically pleasing arrangements with
flowers from your garden. Make an arrangement to take home with
you. We’ll also gather materials and flowers from the Science
Center gardens and grounds to complement your centerpiece.
Supplies: Cut (or purchase) your own flowers to bring to class.
Also bring cutting shears and a small container or vase. (Tip -
cut your flowers the day before and keep in large pot of water
overnight – they will last longer!

Join us at the Science Center for a leisurely paddle on Jacobs
Pond in Norwell. Explore the wetlands, pond edges, and islands
as we meet new people and fellow paddlers from the area. Please
bring your own boat, paddles and lifejackets. No
pre-registration is required! (Adults only please)
