Mom & Me Overnight

It's a girl's night out -
join us for a funfilled sleepover at the Science Center! We'll
enjoy pizza for dinner, work on nature art projects, visit with
our animals, other fun activities, and culminating in a "night
hike" on our trails. We'll end the evening with a light snack
and fall asleep to an animated movie. In the morning we'll have
a hearty breakfast and spend the rest of our time together with
an early morning hike in search of wildlife.

Halloween Howl & Spooky
Woods
Saturday, October 25
It's Halloween at the Science Center. We've
combined Halloween Howl and Spooky Woods into a night of spook-tacular
fun! Come to either or both events!
Both events suitable for ages 3 and above.
Events held rain or shine. In case of inclement weather,
Spooky Woods will be held indoors. Refreshments will be
available for sale.
Halloween Howl
4:00-5:30pm
Cost per child: $12 members/
$15 non-members
(includes one trip through
Spooky Woods)
Pre-registration and
pre-payment required.
Children must be
accompanied by an adult.
Start the festivities early with Halloween
Howl. Activities include pumpkin carving, crafts, and a
live animal presentation. Wear a costume, if you'd like, and
bring a not-too-big pumpkin to carve. Limited number of pumpkins
available at an additional cost.
Spooky Woods
5:30-8:00pm - hikes will be
ongoing
Cost: $5 per person
This is a drop-in program so
no pre-registration needed.
Spooky Woods kicks off with guided walks
through not-too-scary Halloween scenes in the Science Center
woods. Wear a costume if you'd like, bring a flashlight and come
with the whole family.

Cranberry Open House

What do cranberries taste like? Did you know
cranberries bounce, float and grow in bogs? Learn all about
cranberries, their history, folklore, uses, and importance to
our economy in southeastern Massachusetts at this unique Open
House. Also featuring cranberry recipes and crafts.

Turkey Talk & Trot
Friday, November 28

Join a Science Center Naturalist on a guided
walk. Learn some interesting facts about turkeys and together
look for turkey tracks and sightings as you explore the trails
behind the Science Center.
