Programs for the Younger Set
Homeschool Programs
For children ages 3-5, accompanied by an adult
And children ages 6-10 (No adult required)
Second Tuesday of each month, 10:00-11:00am

$10 per child/parent pair for ages 3-5, $10
per child ages 6-10
Join us for a series of programs designed especially
for homeschoolers. Each month features a different
theme with age appropriate activities. Two programs
run at the same time, one for each age group.
Remember that an adult must accompany each child
ages 3-5. Please dress for the weather.

Mom and Me Science
For children ages 3-5 years accompanied by an adult
(No papooses or older siblings, please)

Moms, Dads, Grandparents or other caregivers: bring
your youngster to the Science Center and have fun
with science! Explore the natural world with different
activities, including a take-away to share at
home! We may go outside to investigate, so please
dress for the weather. Pre-registration and

We will explore the outdoors and investigate the changes during the Fall
Season. Take a leisurely guided walk to
the pond, fields, or the woods. Discover brilliant colored autumn leaves or
birds singing and much more.
Dress for the weather. Pre-registration and
pre-payment required.
Feed the Animals
Wednesdays at
3:00pm and Saturdays
at 10:00am
FREE with admission.
Pre-registration not required.
Come watch a naturalist feed the animals at the Nature Center.
Learn more about what some turtles eat, where some amphibians
live, and other interesting things about the animals in the
EcoZone.
Please note: Many of the animals in the EcoZone are
wild and non-releasable; therefore guests will not be able to feed
or pet the animals themselves.
Meet an Animal
Saturdays and Monday holidays
at 10:00am & 2:00pm
FREE with admission.
Come learn more about one of our animals when a
naturalist brings it out for a visit.
Tales from the Wild
For children ages 3-5
Fridays 10:30-11am
FREE with admission.
Join us for stories and tales about animals and
